Slowing Down

There is nothing quite as wonderful as a new baby. The tiny hands and toes, the sounds they make when they eat, the hiccups, and squeaks and yawns and sighs. It’s all so precious. And fleeting. The next thing you know they are telling you no and dumping their bowl of spaghetti over their heads.

But for now, it’s important to breathe it all in as much as you can. The world can wait. Let time slow down and ease up on trying to keep up with everyone and everything for a little while. Soak up every hour because it will pass by much much too soon.
