With newborn scheduling, I always pencil in the session date moms give me with the understanding that the date may or may not happen, depending on when the little one decides to arrive. I don’t often have to reschedule a ton of them, surprisingly, as modern medicine and doctor’s schedules also get a pretty strong say in when little ones show up. However, in the past couple weeks, three of my newborns on the schedule decided to show up early, so I have been scrambling to find dates to work everyone in earlier than expected. It’s all good and wonderful, of course, but I can’t help but wonder what is causing my newborn clients to show up early. Is it the warm sunshine and lazy days of summer that they are seeking? Do they hear their siblings splashing in the pool and playing tag and want to join them? I don’t know. All I know is that this morning, I saw the second of these three newborns on my calendar and she is a DOLL!
Big Sis felt the need to join her new baby sister in her crib so she wouldn’t be lonely. Isn’t that sweet?
