I was asked this late fall to document the first birthday party of a very special baby girl who was turning the big 0-1. A first birthday is special enough as it is, a first birthday for a precious baby girl who has struggled with congenital heart problems is, if it can be possible, even more of a joy to celebrate. And what a day it was!  I don’t know about you, but I want a birthday party just like this for me this coming year. 😉  The wonderful Little Engine That Could theme, the cake, the goodies, the bunting and balloons, the jars of candy and all the creative, personal touches made this first birthday party one-of-a-kind. Filled with loving and generous hearts of friends and family, lots of energetic little ones, and the blessings that each of these things brings, this was a day to remember.
