On this beautiful, warm Thanksgiving Day, I am thankful for so many things. I am thankful for this beautiful, warm Thanksgiving Day, to begin with. Sixty-five degrees in late November…what couldn’t love that? I am thankful for my parents, who have always been supportive and loving. I am thankful for my husband who puts up with my long hours at the computer and my scatterbrained ideas and loves me despite them. I am thankful for my home that keeps me warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I am thankful for my loving church family who reminds me who the most important One in my life is and where I should keep my focus. I am thankful for my fluffy dog, Jack, who licks my ears and greets me cheerfully every day with unconditional love. I am thankful for good friends who listen to me yammer on about whatever is on my mind and act like it’s the most important thing they have heard all day. I am thankful for my job that allows me to work at home and be there for my girls when they need me and that gives me a creative outlet that would otherwise cause me to spontaneously combust if I didn’t have it. I am thankful for my clients who return year after year and who turn into wonderful friends that I look forward to seeing every single time. And I am most wonderfully thankful for these two monkeys of mine who keep me on my toes, never let me down, and who I love so much and am so proud of that I think sometimes that my heart will swell as big as the sky.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
