The Loonies

Well, well, well, look who we have here.

Friday’s session last week was a doozy. If it’s possible to have a photo session hangover the day after, I think I had one. Only instead of my head hurting, my sides hurt from giggling. These people are looney. Don’t let them tell you otherwise.  Mr. & Mrs. Looney were the first two people I met from our current church in Lexington when we were in the church search process in Chicago. They traveled up to the Windy City to meet us one weekend to see my husband in action in the pulpit. She was lovely. He was…well, he smelled okay, I guess.  We still decided to come. 😉

But in all seriousness, I love this family. Our whole loves this family, even when they sit behind us in the pew on Sunday morning and giggle and distract us and pass notes and make faces at my husband. Maybe especially because of this. Their girls have been great friends to our girls and made my girls feel right at home when we moved here a couple years ago, and for that, I am thankful. Even if they are a little looney. 😉

As you can see here , they have a little of Mom’s personality on the left, and a little of Dad’s personality on the right. A good mix, don’t you think?

I also have to give a heart-filled shout out to Mr. & Mrs. Looney because today is their 14th wedding anniversary.  May there be many, many more years of love and happiness, you two!  Love you guys!
