Nine months is such a good age. With my oldest daughter, it was when she started crawling (it’s hard to get momentum going when you have Michelin Man thighs to lug behind you). With my youngest daughter, she was only a month away from running full speed. But with both, they were on the cusp of a new world, enamored by all there was to see and do and touch, and knowing that everything was within their grasp was icing on the cake.
This little guy was so sweet and good natured. He had crawling down to a science and it is obvious that walking is in his very near future by the way he was maneuvering around furniture. He is the youngest of six with siblings as old as college students, so he has a lot of catching up to do, but I hope doesn’t get in too much of a hurry. We should enjoy all the wonders of the world for awhile for as long as possible.
