Last weekend (oh wait…make that almost two weekends ago…oye, time flies) I got to do a beach session with a sweet family. It was a unique session for me because my client is also a Chicagoland professional photographer, the talented Elizabeth Horn (whose work you can find here). We had our work cut out for us - mosquitos, packed beach front, limited parking, lollipop bribes gone wrong… good times, good times. But we survived. ;) It was still a beautiful evening with a beautiful family, and in the end, that’s all that mattered.

As a photographer working with kids, you always know that it’s only a matter of time before curious little hands find their way to your camera. This was a close one. Thank goodness for fast reflexes.
