It’s that time of year again…graduation. A time for seniors to celebrate, a time for thoughtful reflection, a time for moms and dads to break out into a cold sweat at the thought of college tuition bills. Yes, it’s graduation time. A mixed bag of emotions.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… I love working with seniors. I could go on and on about how I love the vicarious feeling of excitement that these guys exude, how I love hearing about who’s going to what school and who’s going to study for what career. Or who’s going to live at home and who’s going to move halfway across the country. Or out of the country. It’s just so much fun.
This guy was no exception. A future pre-med major at UK, a violinist, a guy with good hair. AND he showed up for his session in a tuxedo. That was a first for me. I got to walk around Keeneland with a guy in a tuxedo. I felt like a celebrity.
Happy Graduation, Mr. Tuxedo. I’ve got a strong feeling that great things are in your future. Enjoy.
