You know how you are desperate to go on vacation, and then you go on vacation and you come back from vacation and you still want to be on vacation? Yeah, that’s where I am now. I have Post-Euphoric Vacation Disorder. We spent 6 jam-packed, sunny days in the Los Angeles, CA, area, showing our two daughters some west coast fun. We watched whales and dolphins at Newport Beach, we admired art at the Getty Museum, we met a few celebrities (Jaime Camil, Eddie Van Halen, George Lopez and Dave Coulier) around town, we saw movie and TV studios (Warner Bros VIP tour), we marveled at the views from the Griffith Observatory, we ate at George Clooney’s favorite restaurant (The Smoke House), we walked Hollywood Boulevard, visited friends at First Christian Church of North Hollywood – which happens to be a famous church where many movies at TV shows have been filmed, dug our toes in the sand at Santa Monica Pier, ate lunch at the Farmer’s Market, drove the Pacific Coast Highway, and we sucked down lots of ice cream and drank lots of Starbucks along the way. Man, California knows how to do sunshine and happiness. And to think we only saw a tiny part of it.
I rarely share a lot of personal photos on my blog, but I thought you might need a little sunshine and happiness, too, and I’m always happy to share that. I promise I have lots of client sessions that will be shared here shortly, too!
