I had two summer babies, so I know what it feels like when you are 9 months pregnant and it’s 90+ degrees outside with a thousand percent humidity. (Hint: It starts with an “m” and rhymes with sniserable). That baby can’t quite evacuate the premises fast enough. Of course, the upside is that you don’t have to invite the entire class to your child’s future birthday parties. There are silver linings to suffering sometimes.
This little sweet pea arrived during a sweltering hot week in August. She not only gave her mama some well-deserved relief, she gave her parents the ultimate gift of love. It’s a gift that never stops giving.
